Product Marketing Specialist, ElevateIP

We’re looking for a dynamic, detail-oriented Product Marketing Specialist to develop positioning, messaging and go-to-market strategy for the ElevateIP program. Reporting to the Director of Marketing, you’ll act as the product champion and customer advocate—translating program strategy into clear, compelling narratives that drive awareness, engagement, and participation.


You’ll work closely with the ElevateIP team to launch learning tools, develop high-impact resources, and lead marketing campaigns that help companies understand the value of IP and how ElevateIP supports their growth.


What You’ll be Doing

  • Own and execute the product marketing strategy for ElevateIP, including positioning, messaging and value propositions aligned to program goals
  • Plan and deliver go-to-market campaigns that drive awareness, engagement and program adoption
  • Create and manage marketing assets including website copy, blogs, case studies, whitepapers and social content
  • Partner closely with the ElevateIP team to support the launch of new learning tools, resources and program offerings
  • Conduct competitive and market research to identify insights, gaps and opportunities
  • Track and analyze campaign performance, using KPIs and experimentation (A/B testing) to continuously optimize outcomes
  • Supporting and attending Communitech and ElevateIP events as required, occasionally outside of core working hours


What You’ll Bring

  • 2+ years of experience in product marketing, with exposure to positioning, messaging or go-to-market
  • Demonstrated ability to quickly learn and navigate complex programs and translate them into clear, actionable communications
  • Strong understanding of traditional and emerging marketing channels
  • Strong communications and presentation skills
  • Critical thinker with strong problem-solving and research proficiencies
  • Experience with Google Suite, CMS, SalesForce, ActiveCampaign, Google Analytics, and Canva (is considered an asset)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills


Compensation

The annual base salary range is $50,000-$60,000. The actual compensation will be based on various factors, including the candidate’s level of skills, experience and education as well as the needs of the role, budget and market.


This is a contract, full-time position to March 31, 2027, with the possibility of extension until March 31, 2030.
