As a Project Manager at Edon, you will lead and deliver construction projects with a strong focus on quality, efficiency, and client satisfaction.
Project Delivery
- Manage construction projects from initiation to closeout, including tenant improvements, capital work, maintenance, and renovations
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, on budget, and to specification
- Develop project plans, budgets, and schedules, and proactively manage risks and changes
- Maintain accurate and consistent documentation in line with Edon’s Project Management standards
- Lead and mentor project team members, including coordinators and support staff
- Coordinate with subcontractors, consultants, and internal teams to drive project success
- Identify and address issues early to keep projects on track
- Build strong relationships with clients, property managers, consultants, and vendors
- Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, safety, and quality
- Ensure compliance with all safety and regulatory requirements
- Provide clear, proactive communication to all stakeholders
- Manage expectations and resolve challenges professionally and efficiently
- Deliver a consistent, high-quality client experience across all projects
Experience & Education
- Proven experience managing construction projects ranging from $5K to $20M
- Experience with tenant improvements, capital projects, and maintenance work
- Post-secondary education in project management, engineering, architecture, or a related field
- PMP designation is an asset
- Strong understanding of building systems and construction processes
- Ability to lead teams and manage subcontractors effectively
- Proficiency in interpreting drawings and specifications
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Comfortable with technology and project management systems
- Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle
- Willingness to travel to project sites within Alberta as required
- Clear Criminal Record Check (EPIC) required prior to hire
