Based in Sault Ste. Marie, ON, the Project Manager, Civil Engineering, will report to the Algoma Civil Manager and will have a wide range of duties which ultimately focus on business development, client and personnel management, and the preparation and review of technical deliverables for clients on Land Development and Linear Infrastructure projects. You will be part of a team that provides solutions in a diverse range of engineering, including Municipal, Transportation, Environmental, Drainage, and Stormwater Management. This is a new position and the salary range is $93,600 - $114,000 annually.

What You'll Do

As part of the TULLOCH Engineering team, you will:

  • Work in a fast-paced and challenging environment with our Planning and Engineering teams on a variety of land development and linear infrastructure projects
  • Be responsible for the successful delivery of civil engineering projects including Lot Grading Plans, Industrial, Commercial and Institutional (ICI) Developments, Site Plan Control Applications, and Residential Subdivisions
  • Manage engineering and design staff in project execution while providing mentorship and direction to your team
  • Prepare and review technical deliverables including stormwater management designs and reports and functional servicing studies
  • Collaborate with the engineering team to prepare and review detailed engineering drawings
  • Provide on-site technical review and general review certification when required
  • Prepare and review project cost estimates and bid documentation and perform bid evaluation
  • Coordinate project needs with the Civil Manager, Discipline Manager, clients, regulatory entities, vendors, and subcontractors
  • Actively pursue business development opportunities and procure new clients

Who You Are

  • You have a valid P.Eng. licence through PEO
  • You have 5+ years of experience working in a Civil Engineering role in Ontario
  • You have Project Management experience as a P.Eng. in Civil Engineering
  • You have robust knowledge in stormwater management, site servicing, and water resources engineering
  • You have experience completing Municipal Class EA Planning process
  • Knowledge and practical experience with technical modelling software such as Visual OTTHYMO, PCSWMM, and HEC-RAS is an asset
  • You have a thorough understanding of relevant legislation, guidelines, and standards
  • You can exercise independent judgment within defined parameters and in alignment with business objectives
  • You have strong computer skills with Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, and other software
  • You are willing to travel periodically as needed
