Bayshore Medical Personnel is seeking a part-time Psychologist with a minimum of 3 years (36 months) of cumulative full or part time experience to provide services to our federal client in Regina, Saskatchewan.
Our federal client requires the services of a Psychologist to provide specialized clinical psychological assessments to address fitness for duty, disability management and performance related issues for members; to conduct psychological debriefings within specialized sections; to conduct psychological screening assessments for experienced applicants to our client; to support the Critical Incident Stress Management (CISM) program and provide/oversee critical incident intervention for members; to coordinate and deliver preventative health programs in collaboration with the Division's Health Services teams.
TASKS
The Psychologist must possess:

TASKS
- Provide psychological services to the Occupational Health Office
- Provide critical incident intervention through the CISM Program. Travel may be required.
- Provide ongoing consultation (e.g. by telephone, MSTeams, e-mail) on psychological matters to the organization, as requested or as initiated by the Contractor.
- Provide expert testimony at Canadian Human Rights Commission or Internal Administrative Processes or Federal Court matters.
- Provide periodic presentations at meetings and/or training of the organization.
- Produce psychological reports which include diagnosis and Fitness for Duty assessment in a format prescribed by the client.
- Complete all tasks and reports in accordance with the established occupational health policies, guidelines and procedures.
- Ensure quality of services offered including but not limited to: follow-up care, referral to psychological support services or other applicable health care providers where required.
The Psychologist must possess:
- A Master’s degree or doctoral degree (PhD) in psychology from a recognized Canadian university, or the equivalent as established by a recognized Canadian academic credentials assessment service, if obtained outside Canada (the Master’s or doctoral degree must have a specialization in clinical/counselling psychology)
- A license as a psychologist in the Province of Saskatchewan or registered within another province or territory with eligibility for license in the province of Saskatchewan; be in good standing with the Provincial College / Association of Psychologists in the province of practice;
- Ability to practice without any restrictions in the area of Clinical Psychology with adults;
- An Authorized Practice Endorsement (APE) from the Saskatchewan College of Psychologists;
- A minimum of 3 years (36 months) of cumulative full or part time experience; have training and experience in objective psychological testing
