About the Role

This is a full-time position (32-40 hours per week) based at our Head Office in Castlegar, BC.

You'll play an important role in supporting purchasing, inventory management, and business operations across multiple locations. More than that, you'll help us identify opportunities to improve processes, increase efficiency, and make data-driven decisions that help our business grow.

This is not just an administrative position. We're looking for someone who wants to contribute ideas, challenge the status quo, and help build better systems.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Manage recurring purchasing activities across multiple locations
  • Monitor inventory levels and make informed replenishment decisions
  • Analyze sales trends, seasonal demand, and supplier availability
  • Prepare and process purchase orders accurately and efficiently
  • Track orders and resolve supplier issues and discrepancies
  • Communicate with vendors regarding pricing, availability, and delivery schedules
  • Maintain accurate purchasing records and supplier information
  • Create reports and analyze data to support purchasing decisions
  • Use Excel and other tools to identify trends and opportunities
  • Recommend and implement process improvements and efficiencies
  • Support administrative functions and business operations as needed
  • Collaborate with team members across departments to achieve shared goals

Qualifications

  • High school diploma required
  • Post-secondary education in business, administration, supply chain, accounting, or a related field is considered an asset
  • Previous purchasing, inventory, administrative, or business operations experience is an asset
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including formulas, analysis, and reporting
  • Experience working with inventory, POS, or business management systems is an asset
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
  • Ability to analyze information and make sound decisions
  • Experience improving processes or creating efficiencies is highly valued
