We are looking for a developer with strong Python, SQL, Azure/AWS, and API Integration experience to build applications, APIs, and data pipelines, while supporting application onboarding, authorization, and security solutions with exposure to Databricks or Snowflake.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and support Python-based applications, integrations, automation workflows, and data processing solutions.
  • Build and maintain data ingestion and integration pipelines using Python, SQL, Databricks, and/or Snowflake.
  • Develop, manage, and integrate RESTful APIs to enable secure communication across enterprise applications and platforms.
  • Collaborate with application teams to understand system architecture, data flows, and access requirements.
  • Support application onboarding activities, including authentication, authorization, and access management integrations.
  • Implement and maintain security policies, role-based access controls (RBAC), and data protection standards.
  • Develop and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, and data validation processes.
  • Deploy, monitor, and support solutions within Azure and/or AWS cloud environments.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve application, integration, security, and platform-related issues.
  • Partner with business, platform, and security stakeholders to design and deliver scalable and secure enterprise solutions.
  • Follow best practices for coding, testing, documentation, and operational support.

Required Qualifications

  • Hands-on experience developing applications and integrations using Python.
  • Strong proficiency in SQL and database development.
  • Experience designing and consuming REST APIs and web services.
  • Experience working with Azure and/or AWS cloud platforms.
  • Understanding of authentication and authorization concepts such as OAuth, SSO, JWT, and RBAC.
  • Experience building and supporting data integration and ETL/ELT pipelines.
  • Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.

Salary And Other Compensation

This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.

Compensation: we are offering an annual salary between $56,650-$103,000
