The Regional Vice-President, Eastern Canada is a member of Sagen’s Sales leadership team, responsible for driving sustainable growth and competitive advantage across the region. This role will leverage analytics, market intelligence and consistent business routines to develop and implement innovative ideas, strategies, and approaches to growing Sagen’s market share, promote corporate brand recognition and achieve sales goals.
Here is where you will be focusing to ensure your success.
Sales Strategy Development: Partner with senior sales leadership to shape and execute regional strategies that align with enterprise priorities, market dynamics and customer needs. Translate strategy into clear, actionable plans that drive measurable results.
Leadership and Team Development: Build and develop a high performing sales team through coaching, mentorship, and clear accountability. Foster a culture of continuous learning, collaboration, and excellence in account managers.
Performance Analysis: Establish and monitor key performance indicators to drive accountability, improve customer experience, and optimize sales outcomes. Leverage insights to identify opportunities, inform decisions, and continuously enhance performance.
Sales Methodology Framework: Drive adoption of a consistent sales methodology that equips teams to uncover opportunities, navigate complex customer needs and deliver value-driven solutions. Reinforce best practices that support strategic objectives and long-term growth.
Senior Customer Relationships: Collaborate with Sagen’s Business Development Leaders to ensure alignment between national and regional strategies. Develop and strengthen leadership contacts with key lender contacts focused on improving customer experience.
Marketing and Communications: Champion Sagen’s brand by elevating leadership visibility in the market and team presence across industry and regional events. Partner with marketing to strengthen brand positioning and amplify market impact.
Voice of the Customer: Act as a strong advocate for the customer. Collaborate across the organization to anticipate evolving customer needs to ensure solutions and priorities are aligned to deliver meaningful customer value.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Foster strong alignment across sales, risk and operations leadership to ensure teams are aligned around customer needs while balancing the current risk appetite.
Technology Integration: Drive effective adoption of CRM and analytics tools to enhance sales effectiveness, deepen customer insights, and support data-driven decision-making. Ensure technology is leveraged to create meaningful value for customers.
Regional Knowledge Leverage internal and external partnerships to maintain a deep understanding of Eastern Canada’s economic, regulatory, and industry landscape.

Knowledge and Experience:
- 7+ years of sales leadership experience in the mortgage lending industry.
- University degree.
- Demonstrated experience in, strategic sales management and coaching, with a proven track record of top line results.
- Extensive experience leading a sales team.
- Proven success in managing multiple assignments/priorities and deadlines, in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
- In-depth understanding of financial services and proven success in developing and implementing successful sales strategies.
- Understanding and knowledge of CRM tools are an asset.
- Strong relationship skills with the proven ability to effectively influence customers, internal stakeholders, and industry leaders.
- Team player with the ability to challenge the status quo maintaining overall business strategies and realities.
- Ensures accountability for their own work and drives for results.
- Results oriented with a strong customer-focused attitude.
- Demonstrated leadership – ability to implement strategies and motivate to achieve results.
