Purpose of a Recovery Administrator
The Remarking Administrator oversees vehicle remarketing, including pricing, listings, auctions, and sales, to maximize proceeds. They will monitor condition reports, resolve arbitration, support the sales team, and handle administrative tasks. The role also analyzes performance, collaborates with internal teams, and supports the Manager of Recovery and Remarketing.

Purpose of a Recovery Administrator
The Remarking Administrator oversees vehicle remarketing, including pricing, listings, auctions, and sales, to maximize proceeds. They will monitor condition reports, resolve arbitration, support the sales team, and handle administrative tasks. The role also analyzes performance, collaborates with internal teams, and supports the Manager of Recovery and Remarketing.
Responsibilities of a Remarketing Administrator
- Manage vehicle remarketing through live, remote, and in-person auctions, ensuring optimal exposure and maximum sale proceeds.
- Price vehicles using guidebooks, market data, historical performance, professional judgment, adjusting strategies based on market trends and demand.
- Review and monitor vehicle condition reports and listings to ensure accuracy in damage reporting, disclosures, and descriptions.
- Communicate with auction representatives to drive competitive bidding, reduce days-to-sell, and maintain high lane performance.
- Hold auctions accountable for errors, misrepresented conditions, and delays in repairs, reconditioning, or documentation, and follow up to ensure efficient remarketing.
- Support arbitration cases, ensuring fair and documented adjustments.
- Analyze remarketing KPIs, auction performance, and sales data to recommend strategies for improving proceeds and operational efficiency.
- Provide support to the sales team, including vehicle evaluations, Carfax claim reviews, and facilitating direct vehicle sales.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth transitions from recovery to remarketing.
- Perform accounting and administrative duties, including invoice analysis, payment processing, record maintenance, and reporting.
- Provide operational support to the Manager of Recovery and Remarketing and perform other duties as required to support the team’s objectives.
- Experience in vehicle remarketing and auctions (live, remote, or in-person).
- Skilled in vehicle pricing, condition review, and sales analysis.
- Strong communication and collaboration with auctions, vendors, and internal teams.
- Proficient in administrative tasks, record-keeping, and reporting.
- Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple priorities.
- Analytical mindset with problem-solving and operational support skills.
- High school diploma or equivalent; post-secondary education in business, logistics, or related field preferred.
- Experience with vehicle repossessions, recovery processes, or auction coordination would be an asset
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and data tracking tools.
- Base salary starting at $45,000 annually, with experience considered
