As a Residential Security Guard, you will serve as a key point of contact for residents, visitors, contractors, and deliveries while helping maintain the safety and security of the property. Through access control, CCTV monitoring, regular patrols, incident response, and visitor and parcel management, you will play an important role in protecting people and property. The ideal candidate is vigilant, approachable, and dedicated to providing both outstanding customer service and a secure living environment.

Responsibilities For Residential Security Guard

• Monitor security systems and CCTV to identify suspicious activity and potential security concerns.
• Respond promptly and professionally to incidents, emergencies, and resident concerns.
• Conduct regular foot patrols to maintain the safety and security of the property.
• Control access to the building by verifying visitors, contractors, deliveries, and resident access.
• Maintain accurate visitor, parcel, and incident logs, and complete detailed reports as required.
• Receive and securely manage parcel deliveries, ensuring proper notification procedures are followed.
• Provide exceptional customer service while building positive relationships with residents, guests, and property management.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and professional security office and work environment.
  
  

Qualifications For Residential Security Guard

• Authorized to work in Canada with
• Hold a valid BC Security License
• Minimum 6 months of security guard experience
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Strong report writing and technology skills
• Good eyesight and excellent ability to maintain focus
• Ability to stand and walk throughout shift
• Alert, detail-oriented, with strong situational awareness
• Proficient in basic phone & computer skills
