Vulcraft Canada, Inc, A Division of Nucor Corporation is currently looking for a Roll Form Operator to join our Leduc, Alberta team.

Job Description

The Roll Form Operator reports to the Production Supervisor and is responsible for following all safety policies and standards set by Nucor, they will follow all processes and procedures to produce Metal Deck to company standards in their daily task as well as helping to maintain a safe and organized facility.

RESPONSIBILIITIES

• Meet objectives and KPI’s by ensuring efficient and safe operations.
• Performing daily inspections on Roll Mill and related equipment.
• Perform preventive maintenance on Roll Mill.
• Set up the Roll Mill to the correct material gauge.
• Perform all required quality checks on production being manufactured.
• Operating forklifts as required within company safe practice procedures.
• Utilize overhead crane and no touch tools to perform daily assigned tasks.
• Capable of assisting with various areas of joist and deck production, as well as performing any other tasked assigned by your supervisor.
• Be willing to learn and help the team succeed wherever possible.
  
  

Qualifications

• General knowledge of equipment operation.
• Good mechanical and equipment aptitude.
• Overhead Crane experience
• Prior experience in the manufacturing industry is considered an asset.
• Forklift experience
• High School Diploma.
