What You’ll Do
- Collaborate and assist the Active Living Consultant in achieving successful delivery of the Active Living Portfolio and broader Training Function of SPRA.
- Lead the administration of the Fitness Leadership Certification service and support the SPRA Training Function Team. Includes responding to inquires, scheduling, marketing and communication, event registration, processing invoices and payments, and managing manual inventory.
- Support partnership development, coordination, promotion, granting, host site and facilitator management, and evaluation associated with Forever…in motion and other SPRA Training services.
- Plan and deliver engaging in-person and virtual training, develop learning materials, and help ensure high-quality educational experiences for diverse audiences.
- Build relationships with community organizations, recreation providers, and partners to promote and expand active living and training initiatives.
- Monitor program results, maintain online training systems and technologies, create reports and communications, and contribute to continuous improvement of training services.
- Education or experience in Physical Activity or Health Studies, Kinesiology, Recreation Administration, Community Development, or Education & Instructional Design.
- At least two years of related experience and a strong understanding of active living programs and Fitness Leadership Certification.
- Strong programming and event coordination and administration skills. .
- Confidence using technology and digital tools, including the Microsoft 365 Suite, Eventbrite, Articulate 360, and Constant Contact.
- An ability to collaborate with peers in a hybrid (virtual) work environment.
- Personal values that align with the role parks, recreation, and active living play in supporting healthy, connected communities.
