Job Description

Allied Universal is seeking Security Guard in Windsor, Ontario.

Job Title: Security Guard - Full Time

Job Location: Windsor , ON

Job Type: Full-Time

Pay Rate: $ 18.32 per hour

Shifts : Monday and Tuesday = 00:00 - 06:30, Friday = 06:30 - 16:30, and Saturday is 20:00 - 08:00

Overview:

Allied Universal is currently hiring Security Professionals in Windsor, ON to provide professional, front-line security services. This role is ideal for individuals with strong customer service skills, a professional demeanor, and willing to work with a dynamic team.

Requirement:

• Familiarity with access control systems and alarm .
• Experience with report writing and note-taking.
• Knowledge of CCTV monitoring systems.
• Valid Ontario security guard license
• Drivers License is considered an an asset.
• Must be eligible to work in Canada for 40 hours per week.
• First Aid and CPR
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent/GED or equivalent work experience
  
  

Specific Duties Performed And Essential Functions :

• Provide access control for the facility and designated areas.
• Maintain a polished, professional, and customer-friendly image at all times.
• Manage conflicts and incidents effectively and de-escalate situations when necessary.
• Conduct patrols and follow site protocols as outlined in the post orders, including indoor and outdoor patrols and managing the movement of guests throughout the property.
• Ensure that the facility's safety and emergency procedures are followed in response to fire alarms and other site emergencies.
• Complete all site-specific training and follow the direction and guidance of the Site Supervisor or Manager.
• Demonstrate sound judgment, common sense, and decision-making abilities, particularly when required to take charge and direct others during emergencies or incidents.
• Maintain meticulous records and reports, utilizing strong observation, verbal communication, and written communication skills.
• Operate and monitor security room equipment and complete all required site training.
