Our client is seeking a Senior Fuel Advisor to drive revenue growth through the development and management of high-value wholesale fuel opportunities. This role is focused on building and closing large-scale deals within the wholesale channel, particularly across oil & gas, mining, and other industrial sectors. The successful candidate will play a key role in managing a strong pipeline of opportunities, maintaining CRM discipline, and executing a structured, value-based sales approach. The ideal candidate is a strategic and entrepreneurial sales professional who is confident managing complex deals and building long-term client relationships.

Your Success Will Be Defined By Your Ability To

  • Drive revenue growth by actively developing and managing high-value wholesale opportunities, with a strong focus on deals over $1M
  • Build and maintain a consistent pipeline of industrial and wholesale clients, including oil & gas operators, mining companies, and large-scale accounts, while ensuring accurate CRM tracking
  • Lead the full sales cycle from prospecting and discovery through to proposal development, negotiation, and final contract execution
  • Manage and grow key wholesale accounts through regular engagement, structured reviews, and identifying opportunities for expansion and upselling
  • Work closely with operations, logistics, pricing, and leadership teams to ensure deal structures are accurate, competitive, and operationally executable
  • Maintain detailed and up-to-date CRM records, including weekly updates on pipeline activity, discovery notes, next steps, and forecasting information
  • Monitor market conditions, pricing trends, and competitor activity to support informed decision-making and strategic sales conversations
  • Share insights and field intelligence with the broader business development team to support growth and market expansion initiatives
  • Travel as required for client meetings, relationship development, and market presence activities

Your strengths include:

  • Proven experience in wholesale industrial sales, B2B sales, or business development roles, ideally within complex or long sales cycle environments
  • Strong track record of successfully closing large-scale, high-value deals
  • Strong pipeline management skills with disciplined CRM usage and accurate forecasting habits
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills with the ability to engage and influence senior-level stakeholders
  • Strong strategic thinking, analytical ability, and overall business acumen
  • Ability to work within structured sales processes while managing multiple complex opportunities at the same time
  • High level of attention to detail, strong documentation habits, and consistent follow-through
