We are seeking a strategic, business-minded Senior Manager, Health & Wellness to shape and lead our North American Health Services strategy, with a significant mandate to build and evolve a best-in-class disability management program. This is an opportunity to create meaningful impact by establishing the frameworks, processes and capabilities that will better support employees while strengthening business performance. The successful candidate will lead disability, accommodation, return-to-work and Workers’ Compensation programs; leverage data and analytics to identify trends, measure outcomes and manage risk; and develop KPIs and reporting that bring greater visibility to the organization. Working closely with leaders across the business, they will bring a practical, evidence-based approach to improving workforce health, productivity and performance, while also advancing occupational health, wellness, Drug & Alcohol and health promotion initiatives across multiple jurisdictions.


The ideal candidate is a credible, commercially minded leader and strong influencer who can bring both the technical expertise and business perspective required to build a more mature disability management function. They will have demonstrated experience developing or significantly enhancing programs within a large, complex organization and understand how to balance employee wellbeing with operational realities, financial considerations and organizational risk. Beyond technical expertise, they will be comfortable engaging senior leaders, challenging conventional thinking and turning best practices into practical, scalable solutions. A strong communicator and relationship builder, they will bring the leadership presence to drive change, build organizational capability and develop a high-performing team. Above all, they will see disability management not simply as an HR or health function, but as an important contributor to employee experience, productivity and business performance.


Skills and Experience:

  • Experience developing, implementing or significantly enhancing disability management programs within a large, complex organization.
  • Strong understanding of disability management, accommodation, return-to-work and workers' compensation practices.
  • Demonstrated ability to use data and analytics to inform strategy, influence decisions and measure business outcomes.
  • Experience developing policies, governance frameworks, procedures and operational processes.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence across multiple functions.
  • Experience leading organizational change and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Proven leadership experience developing high-performing teams.
  • Excellent project management and execution skills.
  • Strong business acumen with the ability to balance employee wellbeing, operational requirements and financial considerations.
  • Outstanding communication, relationship-building and problem-solving skills.
  • 7+ years of experience in disability management, health promotion, or related field.
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Occupational Health, Health Sciences, Business or a related discipline.
  • Experience working within large, complex organization
  • Disability Management certification (CDMP or equivalent).
