About This Role

We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer with 5+ years of experience to join a small, high-impact engineering team building AI-powered voice agents that handle millions of calls monthly for Fortune 500 companies. You'll work across four product teams — three focused on core product development and one operating as forward-deployed engineers — shipping full-stack features that directly power Replicant's LLM-based conversational AI platform.

What will you be doing?

  • Build and ship full-stack product features that support and enhance Replicant's LLM-powered voice and chat products
  • Work across product teams to deliver capabilities that help win deals and scale the platform (including forward-deployed engineering work)
  • Integrate speech recognition, text-to-speech, and conversational AI model improvements into production systems
  • Optimize and debug production systems balancing latency, cost, and user experience at enterprise scale
  • Collaborate closely with product and ML teams in a fast-moving, startup environment where every engineer owns multiple initiatives

Key Requirements

  • Proficiency in Python or TypeScript — this is a hard requirement (one or the other)
  • Hands-on experience working with LLMs (multi-turn agents, prompt engineering, or tools like LangChain) — not just theoretical knowledge
  • Full-stack engineering experience shipping solutions at scale in a startup or high-growth environment
  • Experience owning and shipping software solutions that scale to millions of users
  • Startup mentality — self-starter who thinks outside the box, not a clock-in/clock-out engineer from big tech or government

Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States or Canada, as applicable, without requiring current or future employer-sponsored immigration support. Visa sponsorship and transfers are not available for this position.
