About This Role:

The Senior Software Engineer, DevOps is part of the Infrastructure Engineering team and reports to our DevOps Lead. As a Senior Software Engineer, DevOps, you will be responsible for designing, building, and optimizing scalable infrastructure and CI/CD systems that support Binance.US’s critical platform services.

You will partner with Software Engineering, Security, SRE, and Product teams to ensure reliable, secure, and efficient deployment pipelines and cloud infrastructure, enabling high system availability and performance across the organization.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement, and maintain scalable, secure, and highly available cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, or similar)
  • Build and optimize CI/CD pipelines to support rapid and reliable software delivery across multiple environments
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to improve system reliability, observability, and incident response practices
  • Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration management using tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or similar
  • Monitor system performance and proactively identify and resolve bottlenecks, outages, and reliability risks
  • Implement and enforce DevOps best practices, including infrastructure as code, version control, and release management
  • Partner with Security teams to ensure infrastructure meets compliance and security standards

Preferred Skills/Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 8+ years of experience in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering, or Infrastructure Engineering roles
  • Strong experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure
  • Proficiency in scripting or programming languages (e.g., Python, Go, Bash)
  • Experience with containerization and orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes)
  • Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI)
  • Strong understanding of system design, networking, and distributed systems
  • Experience with monitoring and observability tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog)
  • Ability to work independently on complex projects with minimal supervision

Salary:

The starting pay range for this role is between CAD $174,487 - $205,332 for all Canada remote locations. The actual base pay will vary, and is dependent upon many factors, such as transferable skill sets, work experience, business needs, and market demands. The base pay range is subject to change.
