We're seeking an experienced Senior Subcontracts Specialist to join and lead our Subcontracts team with Worley Construction Canada. This is a strategic role for a commercially minded professional who enjoys leading complex subcontracting packages, developing sourcing strategies, negotiating agreements, and partnering with project teams to drive successful project outcomes.

We're seeking an experienced Senior Subcontracts Specialist to join and lead our Subcontracts team with Worley Construction Canada. This is a strategic role for a commercially minded professional who enjoys leading complex subcontracting packages, developing sourcing strategies, negotiating agreements, and partnering with project teams to drive successful project outcomes.

As a Senior Subcontracts Specialist, you'll lead the subcontracting process for major industrial construction projects, helping ensure commercial success from planning through execution.
You Will
- Develop subcontracting and sourcing strategies with project teams
- Lead RFQ/RFP processes, bid evaluations, negotiations, and contract awards
- Build strong scopes of work and commercial agreements with internal stakeholders
- Identify, evaluate, and engage qualified subcontractors
- Manage subcontract performance, changes, invoicing, claims, and closeout activities
- Provide contract and commercial guidance to project teams
- Build strong relationships with subcontractors, clients, and internal stakeholders
- Mentor team members and support continuous improvement initiatives
What We're Looking For
We're interested in experienced procurement and commercial professionals who bring:
- 10+ years of subcontract, procurement, or contract management experience
- Experience supporting major industrial construction or capital projects
- Strong negotiation, relationship-building, and commercial skills
- The ability to influence stakeholders and manage competing priorities
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- SCMP designation
- Relevant post-secondary education
