O’Regan’s Automotive Group is looking for a motivated and customer-focused Service Operations Trainee – Co-op for the winter term from January - April 2027 to join our team and gain hands-on experience in the fast-paced world of automotive service.
This is more than just a co-op placement, it’s an opportunity to learn the automotive business from the ground up while developing the skills and experience that can lead to future leadership opportunities within O’Regan’s Automotive Group.
Throughout your co-op term, you’ll gain exposure to a variety of areas within a dealership Service Department and work alongside experienced team members and leaders to understand how each part of the operation works together. You’ll develop practical skills in customer service, sales, operations, and leadership while gaining a firsthand understanding of what it takes to successfully run a dealership Service Department.
For the right candidate, this role can be an important stepping stone toward future career and leadership opportunities with our company.

What You Will Do
- Service Operations – Learn how a dealership’s Service Department operates from start to finish.
- Customer Service – Build relationships with customers, understand their needs, and provide an exceptional service experience.
- Service Advising – Gain exposure to vehicle service recommendations, repair orders, scheduling, and communicating with customers.
- Parts – Learn how the Parts Department supports the Service Department and the overall dealership.
- Vehicle Operations – Assist with moving and delivering customer vehicles throughout the dealership and service process.
- Teamwork & Leadership – Work alongside Service Advisors, Technicians, Parts Advisors, Managers, and other dealership team members.
- Daily Operations – Assist wherever needed to keep the Service Department running efficiently and provide an outstanding customer experience.
- Currently enrolled in a post-secondary program and returning to school following the co-op term.
- A 4-year Bachelor’s degree, OR
- A 2-year Business diploma.
- Previous experience in customer service, sales, retail, hospitality, restaurants, or a similar customer-facing environment.
- A valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Hands-on experience in a fast-paced automotive dealership environment.
- Learn the entire Service Department , from customer service and service advising to parts, vehicle operations, and day-to-day business operations.
