As a Shipping and Distribution Clerk, you will support the efficient flow of finished goods by coordinating shipping documentation, tracking shipments, and maintaining accurate distribution records. This role works closely with internal teams and external carriers to ensure timely, compliant, and accurate shipment execution, while supporting reporting, inventory control, and overall distribution operations. This is a temporary 20-month assignment with the possibility of extension based on operational needs.

What You Can Expect…

• Responsible for accuracy of all paperwork leaving the office for carriers, railways, customers, Distribution and Accounting.
• Prompt and accurate preparation of the clean bills of lading, pro-forma invoices, ASN & pallet labels.
• Maintains correct, up-to-date shipping files, including Daily Shipment Record.
• Prompt post goods issue of shipments.
• Maintaining records and coordinating pallet retrieval on Kruger shipping pallets and rental CHEP pallets.
• Calculate and summarize monthly truck time for local and lease (inter-plant) trucks and distribute report to the Distribution Department.
• Calculate and complete monthly case movement report and distribute to Distribution and Accounting.
• Responsible for maintaining and tracking all loads on TMC website within the Dock and Yard.
• Responsible for communication between CS, TMC and carriers daily for prompt shipment releases and pickups.

• Strong interpersonal skills.
• The ability to work quickly and meet deadlines with accuracy.

Compensation

• Base payrate of $30.43/Hour + Shift premiums
• Safety boot allowance
