We’re looking for a Site Supervisor to manage the full lifecycle of construction projects, from coordinating trades and schedules to ensuring quality, safety, and budget control. What You’ll Be Doing

Project Oversight

  • Manage all day-to-day on-site construction activities across one or more active projects
  • Ensure strict adherence to project scope, quality standards, and safety protocols
  • Lead project scheduling in coordination with trade superintendents, updating regularly and creating recovery plans as needed
  • Handle all project administration and documentation via BuilderTrend

Leadership & Supervision

  • Supervise and guide project coordinators and administrative staff assigned to the project
  • Conduct performance evaluations and provide mentorship to junior team members
  • Act as the point person for trades, consultants, and internal stakeholders
  • Chair project meetings and represent Pine Glen professionally on-site and with clients

Fiscal & Contract Management

  • Negotiate and issue purchase orders and change orders, monitoring for cost and timeline impact
  • Approve subcontractor invoices, material orders, and expense reports
  • Coordinate with the co-owners for regular project financial reviews

Client & Stakeholder Relations

  • Build strong relationships with clients, vendors, and local authorities
  • Address disputes with clients or trades in a professional and cost-effective manner
  • Ensure customer satisfaction through proactive communication and timely issue resolution
  • Oversee PDI, service item closeouts, and warranty handover process

Typical Day-to-Day Responsibilities

  • Maintain project schedules and proactively resolve delays
  • Oversee site inventory, equipment, and materials
  • Respond to urgent issues by phone/email as needed
  • Manage daily email communication and site administration
  • Ensure a clean, safe, and organized site
  • Track and report progress regularly
  • Uphold Pine Glen’s standards for quality and on-time completion

What You’ll Bring

Must-Haves

  • 5+ years of construction supervision experience (residential or commercial)
  • Strong leadership skills with a hands-on, solution-oriented approach
  • Proficiency with BuilderTrend, Excel project scheduling, and Microsoft Office
  • Ability to interpret contracts and construction drawings
  • High attention to detail with strong organizational and documentation skills
  • Comfortable navigating construction environments (stairs, ladders, terrain)

Bonus Points For

  • Knowledge of Ontario Building Code and municipal permitting
  • Experience supervising teams, managing site inventory, and dealing with emergency scenarios
  • Confidence handling public-facing or client interactions with professionalism
  • Bilingualism (English/French) considered an asset
