Your Opportunity:
Description:
As a Stores I, you will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks associated with the picking, packaging, shipping and receiving of orders for hospital supplies, equipment and/or food in accordance with established guidelines and standards. You will process incoming requisitions and distribute supplies, complete cart audits for quality assurance and communicate frequently with stakeholders to ensure appropriate and correct quantities of supplies are available. In addition, you will track and report on inventory to ensure over stocking does not occur.

Required Qualifications:
Completion of Grade 12 or equivalent. Must be capable of pushing and pulling heavy wheeled carts up to and occasionally exceeding 275 Kgs. Must be capable of walking and or standing for long periods of time. Must regularly use hand and arms to reach, lift, and carry heavy items up to 25 kg.
Additional Required Qualifications:
Must be competent in a computerized windows environment, and in utilizing Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook. Must be apable of understanding and accurately following complex and detailed instructions. Must be capable of performing basic mathematical functions; possess high standards of accuracy; be detail orientated requiring minimal supervision; reliable; possess strong interpersonal/customer service skills, working safely.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with Oracle considered an asset. Experience and comfort with material handling equipment. Ability to read, write and comprehend English fluently. Strong communication skills to effectively communicate with all levels of staff, end users and vendors. Strong attention to detail, and ability to maintain a positive attitude in a high stress environment, with time sensitive deliveries and changing priorities.
