As part of our core team, you’ll be responsible for identifying strategic suppliers and managing relationships, ensuring the quality and continuity of our supply chain. This role will allow you to help shape Soucy’s future by leading innovative initiatives and playing a crucial role in our company’s growth and success.

In This Role, You Will Have The Opportunity To

• Secure the best prices and purchasing terms in line with cost-reduction objectives
• Negotiate contracts with new suppliers and foster strong business relationships
• Participate in the approval of new sourcing channels
• Support the sales team in customer bids and price negotiations
• Analyze past consumption and forecast needs for raw materials and supplies
• Maintain purchasing-related databases (MRP, prices, items, suppliers)
• Process internal requisitions and purchase requests
• Contribute to supplier evaluations
• Ensure compliance with ISO standards and quality procedures

With the following skills and qualities, you’ll thrive in this role:

• Certificate in Supply Chain Management
• Minimum of 5 to 8 years of relevant experience in a manufacturing setting
• Ability to multitask and be versatile
• Good understanding of the supplier negotiation process
• Good judgment and decision-making skills
• Attention to detail and a structured approach
• Strong time management and stress management skills
• Must be available to travel occasionally
• Bilingualism (French and English)
