HoopLife is a organization that teaches and leads from a Christian perspective, integrating Biblical principles into our programs, culture, and mission. We operate from a Christian worldview and are seeking team members who align with our faith-based culture and embrace that foundation in how we serve youth and lead our company.

The Opportunity

We’re seeking a dedicated Part-Time Strength Trainer to join our Regina team and transform athletes in our state-of-the-art strength training center. You’ll work 15 hours a week, coaching beginners to elite basketball and general athletes, building programs that drive strength, confidence, and success. This isn’t a short-term gig—it’s for a seasoned trainer ready to lay roots at HoopLife, forge lasting relationships, and shape young lives over years. If you’re passionate about athletic development, thrive on building programs, and live to help athletes rise, this is your chance to make an impact.

What You’ll Do

  • Train beginner, intermediate, advanced, and elite athletes (youth and adults) in our cutting-edge strength training center, tailoring sessions to their needs.
  • Design and implement strength programs that boost performance, resilience, and confidence for basketball and general athletes.
  • Build trusting relationships with athletes and families, inspiring them with energy and care.
  • Adapt training plans for diverse skill levels, pushing each athlete to dream big and grow strong.
  • Encourage progress, celebrate effort, and create an 11/10 experience in every session.
  • Work 15 hours a week with a flexible schedule, giving your all to the mission, no task too small.

Who You Are

  • Zero ego—ready to serve athletes and the team with humility and heart.
  • Passionate about impacting youth—you’re driven to help athletes grow confident and successful through strength.
  • Qualified with a BKin, CSEP-CPT, or equivalent (mandatory), with a proven track record coaching diverse athletes at all levels.
  • CSCS or CEP certifications are nice to have, qualifying you for higher pay.
  • Skilled at building strength programs, with deep knowledge of fitness and athletic development.
  • In active athlete shape, able to demonstrate exercises and lead with energy.
  • A doer who owns every task, admits mistakes fast, and brings solutions, never passing problems.
  • Positive and encouraging, thriving in a fast-paced setting with an 11/10 standard.
  • Honest and direct, communicating with respect and uplifting athletes and families.
  • A team player committed to a multi-year partnership, ready to grow with HoopLife.

Why HoopLife?

  • 24/7 Gym Access: Train anytime at our state-of-the-art HoopLife center.
  • Top-Notch Workspace: Work in a clean, cutting-edge strength facility.
  • Real Impact: Shape athletes lives, building strength and success for the next generation.
  • Strong Benefits: Competitive pay (increased with CSCS/CEP), plus 3 weeks of vacation for part-time staff.
  • High-Stakes Startup: Thrive where effort, ownership, and big thinking win.
  • Mission-Driven Team: Join a crew that’s all-in, helping youth rise in a world that’s failing them.
  • Room to Grow: Build programs and take on more over time in a long-term partnership.
  • Live Your Passion: Be immersed in athletic development, coaching daily.
