The Role
We are looking for an experienced Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our growing Talent Acquisition Team in our Winnipeg office. Reporting to the Senior Talent Acquisition Partner, this role will be responsible for identifying, engaging, and attracting exceptional talent across KGS Group.
This is a hands-on recruiting role for someone who knows how to find great people – not just wait for them to apply.
The successful candidate will bring strong full-cycle recruitment experience, exceptional sourcing and headhunting skills, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment. You will play an important role in building talent pipelines, connecting with passive candidates, and partnering with hiring leaders to bring the right people into the organization.

You will play an important role in building talent pipelines, connecting with passive candidates, and partnering with hiring leaders to bring the right people into the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Manager full-cycle recruitment for a variety of professional, technical, and engineering roles, from intake through offer stage
- Develop and execute proactive sourcing strategies to identify high-quality active and passive candidates
- Use LinkedIn Recruiter extensively to identify, research, and engage prospective candidates
- Conduct targeted headhunting and direct outreach for difficult-to-fill and specialized positions
- Build and maintain strong talent pipelines for current and anticipated hiring needs
- Develop creative sourcing strategies when traditional recruitment approaches aren't producing the right candidates
- Partner closely with hiring managers to understand role requirements, provide market insight, and develop effective recruitment strategies
- Provide an exceptional candidate experience throughout the recruitment process
- Maintain accurate and timely recruitment activity in the Applicant Tracking System
- 3+ years of professional recruiting experience, with a combination of in-house and agency experience considered an asset
- Demonstrated success recruiting for professional, technical, or specialized positions
- Strong sourcing and headhunting capabilities with a proven ability to identify and engage passive candidates
- Advanced/expert proficiency with LinkedIn Recruiter, including Boolean searching, targeted sourcing, talent mapping, and candidate engagement
- Experience managing full-cycle recruitment processes with a high degree of independence
- Strong ability to translate hiring requirements into effective sourcing strategies
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- Strong judgment and the ability to assess candidates beyond simply matching résumés to job descriptions
- Highly organized, proactive, and able to manage multiple searches and competing priorities
- A self-directed approach – you are someone who sees what needs to be done and takes action without waiting to be told
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering a positive candidate and hiring manager experience
