Responsibilities
- Lead the software development team in building new features, configuring products, and taking full ownership of end-to-end project delivery, performance, and operational excellence.
- Guide the team in efficiently and securely adopting modern AI tools, APIs, and automated workflows across the development lifecycle to boost developer productivity.
- Design, refine, and enforce engineering processes, code reviews, and high-quality automated QA practices to eliminate SDLC bottlenecks and resolve technical challenges.
- Define and measure key developer performance metrics (KPIs) to continuously drive team efficiency, code quality, and system scalability.
- Manage team requirements, assign tasks in collaboration with product leads, and maintain strong relationships with developers to keep the team aligned with goals.
- Communicate technical concepts clearly to non-technical internal/external stakeholders, while ensuring all processes meet strict security compliance standards.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field.
- 5+ years of software engineering experience, including 2+ years leading engineering teams, driving sprint execution, and shipping high-impact web or SaaS applications.
- Strong grasp of contemporary web architectures, modern SDLC practices (CI/CD, automated testing, cloud infrastructure), and practical AI tools to keep dev speed high and tech debt low.
- Demonstrated ability to build a high-trust, collaborative team culture, coach engineers through obstacles, and keep developers motivated and aligned around shared delivery goals.
- Exceptional problem-solving instincts with the business judgment to make pragmatic trade-offs between speed, code quality, and technical debt under tight timelines.
- Excellent communication skills with a proven track record of translating complex technical concepts into clear options and trade-offs for product leads and non-technical stakeholders.
