Job Summary

As an Evening Tim Hortons Supervisor is responsible for overseeing restaurant operations during evening shifts, ensuring excellent customer service, efficient team performance, and adherence to company standards. This role involves supervising team members, managing cash handling procedures, maintaining food safety and cleanliness standards, resolving customer concerns, and supporting staff development. The supervisor coordinates shift activities, monitors inventory levels, ensures timely food and beverage preparation, and helps achieve sales and operational goals while creating a positive and productive work environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and support team members during evening operations.
  • Ensure exceptional customer service and guest satisfaction.
  • Manage cash registers, deposits, and shift-end reconciliation.
  • Monitor food quality, freshness, and presentation standards.
  • Enforce health, safety, and sanitation regulations.
  • Train, coach, and motivate employees to meet performance expectations.
  • Handle customer inquiries and resolve complaints professionally.
  • Assist with inventory control, stock replenishment, and ordering needs.
  • Coordinate staffing and delegate tasks to ensure efficient operations.
  • Complete opening, closing, and daily operational reports as required.

About You

  • Previous supervisory or leadership experience in a food service, hospitality, retail, or customer service environment is preferred.
  • Strong customer service and communication skills, with the ability to handle customer concerns professionally.
  • Ability to lead, coach, and motivate a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and delegate effectively.
  • Ability to work independently and make sound decisions during evening operations.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to food quality, cleanliness, safety, and sanitation standards.
  • Comfortable handling cash, transactions, deposits, and shift reconciliation accurately.
  • Ability to monitor inventory, restock supplies, and support inventory control procedures.
  • Basic computer skills and the ability to complete operational reports and documentation.
  • Ability to remain calm and professional when addressing customer complaints or operational issues.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as lifting, carrying, bending, and reaching as required.
  • Food safety certification and/or previous experience with food safety standards is an asset.
  • Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.

The hourly wage for this role is $18.50. Final compensation will be determined based on relevant skills, experience, qualifications, and internal equity. We are committed to offering competitive compensation and comply with all applicable pay transparency legislation. Further details regarding our total rewards offerings will be shared by the Talent Acquisition team during the hiring process. Canadian work experience is not a requirement for this role.
