HoopLife Basketball Inc. is a high-performance sports business sparking confidence and success in athletes and youth through basketball. With elite training centers, Canada-wide camps and clinics, a cutting-edge mobile training app with thousands of users, a fast-growing apparel brand, and a bold online presence, we’re building a legacy with relentless hustle and big-picture ambition. We’re a startup that plays to win, powered by a team with zero ego, owning every outcome, and delivering an 11/10 experience in everything. If you’re ready to grind, serve humbly, and make a difference for the next generation, this is your arena.

Colossians 3:23

“And whatever you do, do it heartily, as to the Lord and not to men.”

HoopLife is a organization that teaches and leads from a Christian perspective, integrating Biblical principles into our programs, culture, and mission. We operate from a Christian worldview and are seeking team members who align with our faith-based culture and embrace that foundation in how we serve youth and lead our company.

The Opportunity

We’re seeking passionate Basketball Coaches for full-time or part-time roles to join our Calgary-based team and coach clinics across Canada—from Vancouver to Toronto. This is a once-in-a-lifetime gig where you get paid to travel, coach athletes, and see the country, with HoopLife covering flights, living expenses, and more. Whether you want casual part-time work (one clinic here and there) or full-time (weekly camps coast-to-coast), you set the pace. You’ll coach athletes to grow confident and successful, build relationships nationwide, and visit stunning places—all while living your love for basketball. If you’re humble, obsessed with the game, and ready to change lives, this is your adventure.

What You’ll Do

  • Coach clinics across Canada for boys and girls (ages 7-17), leading beginner to elite groups with dynamic, team-focused drills.
  • Travel weekly or as needed—fly or drive to locations, with flights, hotels, and expenses fully covered by HoopLife.
  • Lead high-energy clinic sessions (6-12 hours per weekend), delivering 11/10 experiences that inspire athletes.
  • Greet athletes and parents with high-fives, forging connections that spark trust and growth.
  • Set up and tear down equipment, keeping temporary gym spaces tidy and elite, no task too small.
  • Maintain a positive vibe—encourage progress, embrace mistakes, and keep the energy pumping.
  • Adapt drills for all skill levels, promoting teamwork and keeping athletes active and engaged.
  • Work flexible hours (10-40 hours/week based on full-time or part-time preference), coaching as much as you want, giving your all to the mission.

Who You Are

  • Zero ego—ready to serve athletes and the team with humility and heart.
  • Passionate about impacting youth—you believe basketball is the ultimate way to build athletes confidence and success, and you’re driven to make it happen.
  • Obsessed with basketball—you’re a skilled player with experience, studying the X’s and O’s, and it’s your total love, not just a hobby.
  • In active athlete shape, able to demonstrate drills and lead with energy and precision.
  • Experienced coaching or playing basketball at a high level, with a deep understanding of the sport.
  • A doer who owns every task, admits mistakes fast, and brings solutions, never passing problems.
  • Positive and encouraging, thriving in a fast-paced, travel-heavy setting with an 11/10 standard.
  • Honest and direct, communicating with respect and uplifting athletes and families.
  • A team player ready to commit long-term, building relationships across Canada with HoopLife.
  • NCCP certification is a bonus, showing professional coaching steps, but not required.

Why HoopLife?

  • Invest in Yourself: Take a risk on your potential, with autonomy to grow as a leader and person.
  • Build Wealth and Impact: Seize a job-of-a-lifetime to make a great living while changing lives.
  • Paid Travel: Explore Canada—from Vancouver to Toronto—with flights, hotels, and expenses covered.
  • Real Impact: Shape athletes lives nationwide, building confidence and success through basketball.
  • High-Stakes Startup: Thrive where effort, ownership, and big thinking win.
  • Mission-Driven Team: Join a crew that’s all-in, helping youth rise in a world that’s failing them.
  • Flexible Work: Choose part-time (10-20 hours/week) or full-time (30-40 hours/week) to coach as much as you want.
  • Live Basketball: Be immersed in the game you love, coaching and traveling daily.

Ready to Rise with HoopLife?

This is for coaches who hustle hard, stay humble, and see basketball as a way to change lives. Whether full-time or part-time, if you’re driven to win big, live for the game, and ready to travel Canada while inspiring athletes, HoopLife is your journey. Apply now with your resume and a video cover letter showing us how you’ll light up clinics—no half-measures.
