The Warehouse Associate supports daily operations by accurately receiving, storing, and distributing materials and products. They maintain inventory, prepare and fulfill orders, and keep the warehouse safe and efficient. THE POSITION
The Warehouse Associate supports daily operations by accurately receiving, storing, and distributing materials and products. They maintain inventory, prepare and fulfill orders, and keep the warehouse safe and efficient. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, dependable, and able to work independently and as part of a team to meet production and shipping deadlines.
How You Will Be Making An Impact
- Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments and materials.
- Pick, pack, and prepare customer or production orders for manufacturing or shipment.
- Load and unload trucks using forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment.
- Perform regular cycle counts and support inventory audits.
- Label and store products according to FIFO, safety, and quality standards.
- Use warehouse management systems to track and record inventory movements.
- Assist with shipping documentation and labeling as required.
- Fulfill and ship orders on time with a high degree of accuracy.
- Understand and follow warehouse procedures, standards and company policies.
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to support efficient operations.
- Take initiative to identify process improvements and support in implementation.
- Maintain a clean, organized and safe work environment.
- 2–3 years of experience in warehouse, logistics, or distribution.
- Experience using WMS platforms (NetSuite, SAP, Oracle).
- Ability to lift, move, and stack materials up to 50 lbs.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work on your feet for extended periods.
- Solid understanding of inventory control and order fulfillment.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time in a fast-paced environment.
- Forklift certification is an asset; certification and operating skills may be verified.
