We are committed to supporting our communities with expert care, compassion, and rapid response. We are seeking a strategic Xactimate Estimator to join our team.

Position Summary:

The Xactimate Estimator is responsible for preparing accurate, compliant, and timely insurance estimates using Xactimate software. This role works closely with Project Managers, internal departments, adjusters, reviewers, and third-party estimating partners to ensure all estimates meet insurer requirements, company KPIs, and compliance standards. The Estimator plays a key role in cost control, documentation accuracy, and maintaining strong customer and insurer relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare, audit and revise detailed estimates using Xactimate, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and compliance with insurance guidelines.
  • Utilize and manage a third-party estimating firm to complete no less than 30% of all estimates, ensuring quality and timeliness.
  • Input job details into Xactimate, including creating accurate floor plans, sketches and scopes of work.
  • Work collaboratively with Project Managers to convert sketches, scopes, photos, and job details into complete Xactimate estimates.
  • Review job photos and revise scopes of work as required to reflect site conditions and project changes.
  • Review purchase orders and job costs to ensure all expenses are accurately captured within estimates.
  • Track and manage estimates through completion, ensuring all timelines, KPIs, and compliance requirements are met.
  • Upload completed estimates into XactAnalysis for adjuster and reviewer review.
  • Maintain ongoing communication with Adjusters, Reviewers, and Project Managers to facilitate approval and finalization of estimates.
  • Conduct follow ups with internal departments and external partners to ensure compliance standards are met.
  • Notify management when compliance issues arise or when patterns of concern are identified.
  • Work with different departments within the company to promote efficiency, accuracy, and compliance.
  • Build and maintain excellent customer relations through clear communication and professionalism.


Qualifications:

  • Strong computer skills and technical proficiency; Xactimate experience is required.
  • Experience with AutoCAD is considered an asset.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with excellent follow up abilities.
  • Administrative or estimating experience within the restoration or construction industry is an asset.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks and maintain attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and complete tasks accurately within established timelines.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
