Position Information

Temporary position until March 31st, 2026 approximately with possibility of extension.

The Administrative Assistant is a member of the Digital Solutions Team and responsible for supporting the Director, Atlas Alliance Epic Strategic Partnerships including responsibilities to the Atlas Alliance Governance, existing and future Atlas Alliance partners, and associated digital regionalization projects (e.g. Epic expansion). The role will be responsible for providing administrative and project support including managing schedules, coordinating meetings and events, developing communications, handling correspondence and sensitive information. This role requires regular liaising and collaborating with multiple hospitals and assisting with various administrative, project and strategic oriented tasks. This role requires keen attention to detail, ability to work independently and take initiative, strong communication skills, and adept prioritization skills when multitasking.

Rotation/Shifts

Days, 8 hour shifts.

What You Will Bring

  • Completion of Two (2)-year Community College Diploma in Office Administration, or equivalent;
  • Three (3) years of previous experience in office administration;
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint;
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Teams skills, including file management;
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Excellent problem solving and decision making skills;
  • Excellent interpersonal and verbal communication skills required to interact with and relay messages to all levels of hospital staff, external contacts and the general public
  • Ability to deal tactfully and diplomatically when dealing with staff and the general public;
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision;
  • Eligible to work in Canada.


You will stand out with:

  • Knowledge in Microsoft SharePoint, including content creation and editing;
  • Experience in office administration in a healthcare environment;
  • Proficiency in English and French - oral expression (advanced level) and comprehension (advanced level).
