Intelligent Automation (IA) is a multidisciplinary team within the Transformation Office (TO), tasked with identifying, developing, and deploying automated solutions by leveraging a variety of emerging technologies. These technologies encompass Artificial Intelligence, Robotic Process Automation, Test Automation, Business Process Management, APIs, and Cloud Services.
The AI Engineer within the Intelligent Automation (IA) team serves as a crucial technical leader tasked with designing, developing, and implementing AI solutions that enhance business processes and decision-making capabilities. The role involves working on projects utilizing machine learning, natural language processing, computer vision, generative models and multi-agent systems. The engineer will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-impact, AI-powered products and services.

The engineer will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-impact, AI-powered products and services.
Your Role
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Collaborate with business stakeholders, process owners, product owners and IT teams to understand requirements, identify opportunities, and deliver AI solutions that drive value
- Technical Leadership: Provide technical leadership and guidance to cross-functional teams, driving the successful delivery of projects from concept to deployment
- Develop AI Models: Design, build, and optimize AI models and algorithms tailored to financial applications
- AI Integration: Implement AI solutions into existing business systems/processes to improve functionality and efficiency
- Data Management: Oversee data preprocessing, feature engineering, and infrastructure setup for AI model deployments
- Monitoring & Maintenance: Deploy models into production environments and ensure their continuous performance through updates and refinements
- Research & Development: Stay updated on AI trends and technologies to propose innovative solutions for emerging business challenges
- Best Practices: Establish and promote best practices for model design, development, and deployment, ensuring transparency, scalability, maintainability, and performance

- Degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field (Master’s or Ph.D. preferred).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess complex business processes and identify opportunities for optimization
- Strong leadership skills and the ability to mentor junior AI/ML engineers
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders
- 5+ years of experience in AI/ML development, with a track record of successfully deployed AI solution
- Proficiency in Python, machine learning frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch), and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)
- Experience with the latest NLP techniques, including vector databases, fine-tuning LLMs, and RAG
- Knowledge of MLOps practices
- Assets:
- Knowledge of financial products and hedge fund administration
- Agile project management proficiency
- Expertise in automation technologies, including AI, RPA, BPM, APIs, and Cloud Services
- Familiarity with Data/AI tools and platforms such as Databricks, HuggingFace, Langchain, and OpenAI
