The mission of the Art Director, Furniture & Home Decor at Cozey

As Cozey’s Art Director, Furniture & Home Decor, you’ll lead the creative vision and execution of visual assets focused on product and home decor shoots. Your work will showcase Cozey’s core values—simplicity, adaptability, innovation and community—while inspiring customers to make our furniture part of their lives. Reporting to Evan Clabots, VP Product Development & Innovation, you’ll work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product, and merchandising, to create compelling imagery that drives engagement, enhances brand recognition, and supports business growth.

What You'll Be Doing

Creative Leadership

• Develop and execute a cohesive creative vision for all product and home decor shoots, aligned with Cozey’s brand DNA and customer expectations.
• Oversee the design, styling, and production of lifestyle and product imagery that highlights key product features and aspirational living.
• Translate Cozey’s values into impactful visuals across all touchpoints, including digital campaigns, social media, and e-commerce platforms.
  
  

Virtual Asset Creation

• Supervise the development of virtual assets, such as 3D-rendered furniture and AI-enhanced imagery, to support and complement real-life product shoots.
• Collaborate with 3D artists and digital designers to create realistic, high-quality renders that accurately represent Cozey’s products.
• Ensure virtual assets align with Cozey’s brand standards and maintain consistency with photographed imagery.
  
  

Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Partner with marketing to align creative assets with campaign objectives, seasonal launches, and customer acquisition goals.
• Work closely with the product team to ensure visuals accurately represent product features, configurations, and benefits.
• Collaborate with merchandising to ensure imagery supports customer use cases and showcases versatility.
• Post-Production
• Provide direction for retouching, color correction, and image optimization to ensure polished yet realistic results.
• Oversee final asset delivery, ensuring visuals are ready for digital, social, and print channels
  
  

We'd love to hear from you if you have

• 7+ years of experience in art direction in the furniture, home decor industry.
• A strong portfolio showcasing expertise in product and lifestyle photography, and brand storytelling.
• Exceptional eye for design, composition, and color with a deep understanding of visual trends in interior design and home decor.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and familiarity with project management tools like Asana.
• Strong leadership and collaboration skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
• Knowledge of e-commerce and digital marketing best practices, including asset optimization for web and social media.
• Based in Montreal, Quebec.
