Responsibilities

Your daily life with us:

As a Project Manager in Hydrogeology, you will be responsible for:

• Conducting in-depth hydrogeological studies and characterizing aquifers.
• Modeling groundwater flows and assessing groundwater resources (quantity and quality).
• Designing and overseeing exploration and production drilling.
• Evaluating dewatering rates for excavations in site rehabilitation projects.
• Conducting and interpreting slug tests for permeability testing.
• Conducting and interpreting pumping tests, managing water sampling and analysis.
• Analyzing the interactions between surface and groundwater, applying principles of groundwater hydraulics.
• Creating hydrogeological maps and interpreting spatial data.
• Using specialized software such as MODFLOW, FEFLOW, ArcGIS, QGIS for modeling and data analysis.
• Contributing to project performance management using CAD/CAE tools.
  
  

Qualifications

What will set you apart:

• Academic background in hydrogeology, geology, or a related field.
• Significant experience in conducting hydrogeological studies and aquifer characterization.
• Proficiency in hydrogeological modeling software (MODFLOW, FEFLOW, etc.) and geographic information systems (ArcGIS, QGIS).
• Professional Order: Membership in the Ordre des Géologues or Ordre des Ingénieurs du Québec required.
• Strong skills in statistical analysis and data processing.
• Familiarity with CAD/CAO tools for project performance management.
• Independence, precision, and the ability to manage complex projects with tight deadlines.
• Bilinguism, both in French and English: Due to the diversity of our team and the need to communicate with local, pan-Canadian, and international clients and partners, the ability to understand and communicate in both languages is essential.
