About The Opportunity
Parker Huggett has partnered with an established General Contractor with over 30 years of experience delivering high-quality ICI construction projects across Ontario. This GC is part of a larger group of companies encompassing civil works, condo development and asset management. Projects include transit, LTC and retirement homes, hospitals, recreation centers and government administrative buildings. Project values range from $10M-$100M. In the past 30 years, our client has successfully delivered 200+ projects in these spaces. With consistent growth year-over-year, the Estimating team is expanding and the Parker Huggett team is supporting the hiring of a Chief Estimator to support a growing department.

Duties include but are not limited to:
- Pre-tender site visits
- Review estimates to ensure accuracy
- Leverage relationships with sub-trades to solicit competitive pricing
- Mentor and support the growth of junior staff members
- Build and maintain positive client relationships
The successful candidate will have the following:
- 10 + years of estimating experience in a general contracting setting with project experience of $50M
- Strong communication and leadership skills supporting up-and-coming estimators within the team
- Great relationships with clients, trades, consultants
- Highly organized and detail-oriented
