Job Description

Day to Day Responsibilities:

  • Attend college/training sessions and complete assignments on time to enhance knowledge and skills, contributing to personal and professional development.
  • Provide care for children under supervision, ensuring routines are followed, assessments and planning are completed, and feedback is provided to parents, all while utilizing the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) and Development Matters frameworks.
  • Adhere to the nursery's safeguarding policies, including the Prevent Duty, and stay informed about current legislation in relation to child protection and safeguarding.
  • Follow all nursery policies and procedures, maintaining a safe, supportive, and nurturing environment for all children.
  • Collaborate with the team, including the SENCO and other Early Years practitioners, to meet the individual needs of children from diverse backgrounds and developmental stages.

It has an Ofsted Grade 2 Good rating and an overall achievement rate of 71.4%, exceeding the national average of 65.6%. Using a blended approach, learners are always at the forefront of our priorities. All learners are assigned a Personal Tutor who will be their main point of contact.

This involves regular catch-ups, check-in emails and calls. Your employer will agree to give you 20% of your working hours solely towards your study.

This will give you every chance to achieve the highest grade possible! On completion of this 12 month apprenticeship you will have gained; Early Years Educator L3.

Prospects

Possibility of a full time role after the completion of the apprenticeship.
