Here's How
- Offer solution-focused counseling to a diverse range of clients with various personal and work-related issues.
- Evaluate client needs, set objectives, and develop strategies within the framework of the client's EAP plan.
- Create personalized action plans to help clients achieve their goals.
- Manage administrative tasks in line with TELUS Health's clinical models, including maintaining client records and documentation.
- Communicate effectively with TELUS Health's EAP team.
- Uphold professional and ethical guidelines, ensuring client confidentiality and compliance with regulations and policies.
- Stay updated on mental health developments and engage in ongoing professional growth.
- Master’s degree in Counselling, Psychology, or Social Work from a recognized institution.
- Active membership in good standing with a relevant professional regulatory body or association.
- Current professional liability insurance coverage.
- Minimum of five (5) years of post-graduate counselling experience working with diverse populations.
- Demonstrated ability to establish short-term treatment goals and apply a solution-focused therapeutic approach.
- Proven experience in managing high-risk clinical cases, including individuals at risk of harm to self or others.
- Competency in working with individuals, couples, and families; strong knowledge of local community resources and referral networks.
- Access to a professionally maintained private office space suitable for in-person sessions.
