Here's How

• Offer solution-focused counseling to a diverse range of clients with various personal and work-related issues.
• Evaluate client needs, set objectives, and develop strategies within the framework of the client's EAP plan.
• Create personalized action plans to help clients achieve their goals.
• Manage administrative tasks in line with TELUS Health's clinical models, including maintaining client records and documentation.
• Communicate effectively with TELUS Health's EAP team.
• Uphold professional and ethical guidelines, ensuring client confidentiality and compliance with regulations and policies.
• Stay updated on mental health developments and engage in ongoing professional growth.
  
  
  

Qualifications & Requirements

• Master’s degree in Counselling, Psychology, or Social Work from a recognized institution.
• Active membership in good standing with a relevant professional regulatory body or association.
• Current professional liability insurance coverage.
• Minimum of five (5) years of post-graduate counselling experience working with diverse populations.
• Demonstrated ability to establish short-term treatment goals and apply a solution-focused therapeutic approach.
• Proven experience in managing high-risk clinical cases, including individuals at risk of harm to self or others.
• Competency in working with individuals, couples, and families; strong knowledge of local community resources and referral networks.
• Access to a professionally maintained private office space suitable for in-person sessions.
