A Snapshot of Your Day
As an LP Turbine Component Lead, you will be responsible for overseeing the LP turbine scope and supporting planning efforts for the HP turbine scope as required. Your day will involve coordinating with the construction partner to ensure all materials, tooling, and resources are aligned for successful project execution. You will also be involved in pre-planning activities, supporting installation during execution, and ensuring all safety and quality procedures are followed.
You will be part of a dynamic team responsible for the Pickering Refurbishment project, working closely with various departments to ensure successful project execution.

Zero or low emission power generation and all gas turbines under one roof, steam turbines and generators. Decarbonization opportunities through service offerings, modernization, and digitalization of the fleet.

You will be part of a dynamic team responsible for the Pickering Refurbishment project, working closely with various departments to ensure successful project execution.
How You’ll Make An Impact
- Champion the EHS culture on the Pickering Refurbishment project within your scope area.
- Ensure procedures, specifications, and work packages are assembled for your scope area.
- Monitor progress and provide input for adjustments to personnel and schedule to meet contract requirements.
- Provide input to the Pickering Site Manager for emergent workscope requiring additional resources, parts, or tooling.
- Accountable for the disassembly and re-assembly of units per Siemens specifications and quality processes/checklists.
- Support development of the outage risk analysis, review the response plan, and ensure all tooling needs are identified and available onsite for execution as scheduled.
- 5 years of experience in project management and field engineering within the respective scope area. Candidates with more experience can be considered for a higher level or vice-versa.
- Strong coordination and communication skills to work closely with construction partners and various teams.
- Ability to manage pre-planning activities and support installation during execution.
- Knowledge of Siemens specifications and quality processes/checklists.
- Experience in outage planning and risk analysis and ability to ensure closeout procedures are followed and all safety and quality checklists are signed off.
- Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States without need for current or future employer-sponsored work authorization. Siemens Energy employees with current visa sponsorship may be eligible for internal transfers.
