We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Network Operations Analyst to support the administration, monitoring, and operational stability of hybrid IT/OT network infrastructure in a global, multi-site environment. This role offers broad exposure to enterprise and industrial networking technologies, including LAN, Wi-Fi, SD-WAN, and virtual networking, along with specialized support for operational technology (OT) and industrial wireless systems. The successful candidate will play a key role in monitoring, incident response, documentation, and compliance in collaboration with cross-functional teams including cybersecurity, operations, and engineering.
Responsibilities
· Support network monitoring initiatives by configuring and maintaining SolarWinds tools such as Network Performance Monitor (NPM), Network Configuration Manager (NCM), and NetFlow Traffic Analyzer (NTA).
· Establish monitoring views, alerts, dashboards, and reports aligned to business and operational needs.
· Correlate network performance data with operational incidents to support troubleshooting and proactive issue resolution.
· Provide Tier 1-2 support for LAN, Wi-Fi, SD-WAN, and data center networking environments.
· Execute configuration tasks for Cisco routers, switches, and wireless infrastructure under senior guidance.
· Contribute to troubleshooting activities across IT, OT, and cybersecurity teams.
· Document network configurations, topology, and standards; assist in creating knowledge base content and SOPs.
· Assist with secure networking practices and support compliance with cybersecurity protocols, including asset visibility efforts using OT security platforms.
· Participate in ITIL-based incident, change, and configuration management processes.
Quantified Qualifications
· 5+ years of hands-on experience in network support or infrastructure operations within enterprise or industrial environments.
· Proficient in configuring and supporting SolarWinds NPM and NCM; experience with NTA and NTM is considered a strong asset.
· Experience supporting Cisco network infrastructure including Catalyst/Nexus switches, VLANs, routing protocols (e.g., OSPF, BGP), VPNs, and ACLs.
· Exposure to virtual networking in environments such as Azure, VMware, or Nutanix AHV.
· Basic knowledge of scripting (e.g., PowerShell or Python) to support automation or tooling.
· Familiarity with ITIL processes and change management practices.
· Foundational certifications such as CCNA, or working toward advanced certifications (e.g., CCNP).
· Strong interpersonal skills, ability to communicate with cross-functional teams including operational, cybersecurity, and engineering personnel.
· Willingness to work flexible hours to support business-critical operations.
