NEXT has strategically located local warehouses across and beyond the GTA, each with a full quantity of inventory and strong, strategic delivery capabilities.

Role Overview

As a Counter Sales Associate, you will provide excellent service by communicating with customers, understanding their needs, and offering effective solutions. This role combines sales responsibilities with hands-on warehouse tasks, ensuring smooth operations and customer satisfaction.

What You Will Do

  • Provide fast and friendly service at the counter, over the phone, and through email. Assess customer needs and offer assistance and solutions.
  • Process orders quickly, handle returns and the required paperwork, and source items that are not in stock.
  • Help with picking and packing orders, restocking items, and accurately keeping track of inventory.
  • Assist with warehouse tasks to keep the area clean and safe. Assist with loading and unloading deliveries while making deliveries when needed.
  • Work alongside team members to resolve issues related to orders, transfers, and purchase orders. Provide support and training to junior staff.

What We Require

  • Over 2 years in a customer-facing role within the industry. A clear police record is necessary for employment.
  • Knowledgeable in plumbing and hydronics, with a strong history of good customer service and making strong connections.
  • Ability to explain technical details effectively to different people. Skilled at handling busy counter operations. Can use computer applications with ease.
  • Can work independently, takes charge, and is responsible. Flexible with work hours to fit the needs of the business.
