Customer Care Representative

Part-time opportunity for an outgoing Customer Service professional with our government client in Victoria, BC! Availability on Saturdays is required. Prior experience in a customer service role within an office environment is desired. The office is located in Downtown Victoria.

About the Opportunity
A fun and fast-paced environment, both customer service and administrative experience is important in this role as you will work in a busy, proactive, and service orientated environment. This role offers the perfect combination of administration and customer interaction.

About the Position

• Greeting customers in person and over the phone, and handling any queries or requests
• Carrying out administrative duties; filing, handling incoming and outgoing mail, scheduling meetings
• Preparing and proofreading reports and documents, highlighting any errors
• Managing correspondence and memos
• Helping with opening, maintaining, and closing claims files
• Uploading and updating documents
• Preparing documents for records retention

Requirements:

• Availability for up to 28 hours per week, during operational hours.
• High school diploma.
• 1+ year of experience in customer service, preferably in an office environment.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Must have fast and accurate data entry skills – assessments will be administered.
• Commitment to customer service.
• Must be able to pass applicable background checks and assessments; criminal & credit, data entry evaluation, and listening assessment.

Compensation:

• Annual salary range $56,000 - $58,000 depending on experience.
