About The Role
Bosa Properties is looking for a Financial Analyst – Development Accounting to join our team of talented real estate professionals. The projects you will work on are predominantly concrete high-rise buildings throughout the Lower Mainland, with an expanding project portfolio that includes assets in the United States. In this role, you will have exposure to projects in various stages of the development life cycle.

About The Role
Bosa Properties is looking for a Financial Analyst – Development Accounting to join our team of talented real estate professionals. The projects you will work on are predominantly concrete high-rise buildings throughout the Lower Mainland, with an expanding project portfolio that includes assets in the United States. In this role, you will have exposure to projects in various stages of the development life cycle.
What You'll Do
- Supports the efforts of the development team by preparing and maintaining proformas, discounted cash flows, NPV and related return analyses, project closings and financing;
- Prepares project draws, and provides underwriting materials and related analysis for construction financing;
- Liaise and collaborate with the development teams, including conducting scenario analysis, participating in project status meetings and providing financial updates;
- Works with development team to maintain monthly cash flows over the duration of each project;
- Manages the financial aspects of all project changes and onboards new projects;
- Complete monthly financial reporting processes, including account analysis, review of monthly trial balances reconciliations and reporting schedules;
- Maintain a strong internal control environment to ensure continuous compliance with various regulatory requirements, including ASPE, applicable federal and provincial laws and regulations for financial and tax reporting;
- Identify ways to streamline day-to-day accounting operations and make processes more efficient;
- Assist with the preparation of ad hoc reports, financial reviews and special projects as directed.
- Experience in Real Estate Development Accounting is an asset but not a requirement;
- Proven analytical abilities demonstrated through experience working on long-term forecasting projects and scenario analysis;
- Demonstrated ability to listen intently and work collaboratively, building strong relationships across the organization and with external partners;
- Strong Excel skills demonstrated through complex financial modelling;
- Demonstrated experience managing changing priorities efficiently and effectively.
Salary
$77,724—$106,794 CAD
