Total Life – Voted Best in Business by Inc. Magazine

About Total Life

We’re Total Life — the nation’s leading teletherapy platform for older adults, on a mission to help people age better, feel better, and live longer. With tens of thousands of sessions delivered and a fast-growing national footprint, we’re transforming mental health for an underserved generation. Recognized by Inc. Magazine as one of the Best in Business, we’re building something bold — and we’re hiring someone equally bold to lead our marketing engine.

The Role

We’re looking for a Superstar Director of Marketing — someone who lives and breathes growth. You’ll lead our entire marketing strategy across digital, audio, and traditional channels. You’ll own our ad budget, get obsessive over cost per acquisition, and collaborate cross-functionally to bring in high-intent leads for therapy, membership, and more.

This isn’t a job for someone who wants to “manage a team someday.” This is for someone who already knows how to drive results and wants the ownership, autonomy, and upside to take a rocketship to the next level.

What You’ll Do

  • Own and optimize our paid media strategy (Meta, Google, YouTube, Display, Retargeting, etc.)
  • Build and execute traditional campaigns across TV, radio, podcast, and print
  • Lead SEO, landing page strategy, and conversion optimization
  • Develop and execute marketing presentations and strategic storytelling to support partnerships and funding
  • Monitor all KPIs — especially Cost Per Acquisition (CPA), CAC:LTV, ROAS, and lead velocity
  • Collaborate closely with sales, clinical ops, and leadership to align growth targets
  • Manage external vendors, agencies, and freelancers as needed
  • Get hands-on and stay scrappy — we’re growing fast and need a builder mindset

Who You Are

  • You’ve owned an ad budget and have strong opinions on how to spend it
  • Proven experience across digital performance marketing, traditional media, and brand strategy
  • You live in spreadsheets, dashboards, and reports — and you love it
  • Strategic thinker, but also execution-obsessed — you ship fast
  • You’ve worked cross-functionally and know how to partner across teams to hit real growth goals
  • Comfortable with ambiguity, complexity, and being the go-to person
  • Passionate about health, longevity, or mission-driven work? Huge bonus.

Why Total Life?

  • Real equity + performance-based bonus
  • Early leadership opportunity with a direct line to the CEO
  • A chance to build something that matters — and own your impact
  • Fast-moving, low-ego, high-performance team
  • A brand you’ll be proud to scale

Location: Edmonton Alberta

Salary: $70k-$85k
