As the Director, Sales & Marketing Enablement, you will play a crucial role in driving operational excellence and supporting our Sales & Marketing team to achieve our corporate objectives. This role will act as a change agent, building efficient processes and supporting the implementation of new ways of working, including leveraging agile principles.

Reporting to the Chief Revenue Officer, the Director, Sales & Marketing Enablement must possess a strong foundational knowledge of P&L accountabilities, Sales & Marketing KPIs, scorecard reporting, campaign execution and budget management.

In partnership with the Sales & Marketing leadership team, the Director, Sales & Marketing Enablement will help identify opportunities to drive operational efficiency and reduce friction while ensuring strong cross-functional collaboration and alignment.

Key Responsibilities Include

  • Continuous Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness in Sales & Marketing operations.
  • Performance Tracking: Support Marketing teams in developing and/or enhancing performance tracking tools and scorecards and to track progress and drive continuous improvement.
  • Change Agent: Build efficient processes and support the implementation of new ways of working, including leveraging agile principles to emphasize delivering value through iterative development, evolving our marketing AI roadmap, fostering collaboration, and adapting to change to meet customer needs effectively.
  • Cross-Functional Coordination: Organize and lead cross-functional meetings to ensure alignment and collaboration between sales, marketing, and other internal partners.
  • Budget Management: Support the marketing team in developing and managing budgets, ensuring accuracy and adherence to financial guidelines.
  • Vendor & Contracts: Work with Marketing leaders and internal partners to manage vendor relationships and drive contract creation, review and completion with speed and accuracy.
  • Marketing Operating System: Lead the development of agendas, facilitate recurring and ad hoc marketing meetings (cross-functional and team meetings) and capture key outcomes through timeline meeting minutes.
  • Marketing Campaign Support: Partner with Marketing leaders to develop regular reports on marketing campaign performance, business results and continuous improvement opportunities. Provide support to Marketing teams, whether consulting on campaign strategies or pitching in help bring campaigns to life.
  • Culture Builder: Be a culture catalyst, helping to champion a business ownership mindset, with a strong focus on the customer and pushing for outstanding business results while inspiring teams to win together.

The Ideal Candidate Will Possess

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or Communications
  • Proven experience in sales and marketing operations, preferably in the telecommunications or rural internet industry.
  • Strong foundational knowledge of P&L accountabilities, Sales & Marketing KPIs, scorecard reporting, and budget management.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent organizational and project management abilities.
  • Demonstrated budget management and financial analysis.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Outstanding partner to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
