The Opportunity:

Postmedia is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented professional to fill the full-time position of Distribution Coordinator.

What you’ll do:

Supervise and organize newspaper distribution and service of the Provincial newspapers, Flyer and Parcel distribution network.

• Effectively coordinate and supervise the day to day distribution operations
• Proactively resolve all related delivery and service problems
• Maintain acceptable service levels through the independent distributor delivery network
• Oversee and support a network of contract drivers
• Other duties as assigned
  
  

Who you are:

• Two (2) years relevant work experience, with some supervisory and previous distribution experience preferred. Previous experience working with independent contract distributors is an asset
• Ability to maintain a positive attitude, communicating effectively with other employees and independent contractors while managing multiple tasks, and working effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven work environment.
• Strong customer service skills
• Working knowledge of Microsoft365
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong problem-solving and organizational skills
• Ability to recruit and contract independent contractors
• Must have a reliable vehicle and valid New Brunswick drivers’ license
