Under the direction of the Supervisor of Maintenance, the Electrician:

Installs, maintains, upgrades and repairs electrical and fire alarm systems throughout the Board;

Performs other duties, as assigned by the supervisor;

Some overtime may be required.

Required Qualifications, Experience, Knowledge And Skills

Secondary School graduation diploma;

Five (5) year Electrical Construction and Maintenance License 309A, (includes the equivalent of one year of Community College);

Fire alarm system certified ( Certi-Fire or CFAA) ;

Two (2) years of related commercial experience;

Ability to work independently;

Good interpersonal skills;

Valid driver’s licence;

Satisfactory Police Record Check will be a condition of employment.

This is a permanent, full-time position with an annual salary of $89,471.
