Emergency Systems Analyst

Our GP911 Department is looking for a dedicated Emergency Services Analyst I to join the team.

Position Responsibilities

As an Emergency Services Analyst, you will:

Provide Technical Support for Critical Systems

• Maintain and optimize public safety technologies including 911 call handling, CAD, RMS, radio consoles, analytics platforms, and fire station alerting systems.
• Perform software updates, configuration changes, and preventative maintenance.
• Troubleshoot system issues, including database, connectivity, and application performance.
  
  

Lead Problem Solving and Innovation

• Diagnose and resolve technical issues across multiple platforms.
• Identify inefficiencies and recommend system improvements.
• Contribute to technology planning, procurement, and implementation.
  
  

Deliver End-User Support and Training

• Provide one-on-one and classroom-style training to 911 operators and other staff.
• Translate complex technical information into user-friendly guidance.
• Develop and maintain user documentation and knowledge bases.
  
  

Collaborate Across Teams and Stakeholders

• Work closely with internal IT teams, operational staff, and external vendors.
• Support cross-functional projects such as system upgrades and new implementations.
• Ensure alignment between technical solutions and operational needs.
  
  

Qualifications

• Proven experience supporting and configuring complex technology systems.
• Strong knowledge of system integration, performance optimization, and troubleshooting.
• Experience developing standard operating procedures and technical documentation.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to provide mentorship and translate technical details into accessible language.
• Ability to work in high-pressure environments with a strong commitment to public safety and confidentiality.
• Availability to participate in a 24/7 on-call rotation for emergency technical support.
  
  

Hours

The standard workweek consists of an average of 35 hours, with the specific schedule being determined by the immediate supervisor.

Compensation

Starting salary $44.10 per hour as per the Out-of-Scope Agreement.
