Key Responsibilities
- Review and approve detailed application drawings to ensure compliance with corporate standards as well as local regulatory and safety requirements.
- Under minimal supervision may be required to prepare drawings utilizing Aluma Products.
- Working independently, prepare complete and accurate engineering calculations for a variety of projects
- Provide assistance and feed back to detailers on design issues and come up with solutions to complex problems.
- Monitor work schedule to ensure work is completed on time.
- Provide technical support to sales force and customers.
- May be required to carry out jobsite inspections for specific projects.
- Occasionally visits construction project sites.
- This position has limited supervisory responsibilities
- Must posses a professional engineering license.
- Bachelor degree in engineering / Applied Science or equivalent.
- Registered as a Professional Engineer with a recognized Professional Engineering Association.
- Minimum of seven (7) years of progressively responsible working experience in relevant field.
- Commitment to professional career development.
- Demonstrated team work and interpersonal skills, positive attitude, and ability to work collegially with sales personnel and others to provide customer-focused engineered solutions in the rental and/or sale of forming, shoring and scaffolding products.
- Sound working knowledge of AutoCAD/Revit/Inventor software and MSOffice. Good working knowledge of structural analysis software.
