Horizon Recruitment is recruiting for a Finance Transformation Program Manager to lead a series of critical initiatives designed to modernize and optimize core finance processes. This newly created role will be responsible for driving the successful delivery of finance system enhancements, automation projects, and a NetSuite optimization initiative. You'll work closely with finance leaders, cross-functional teams, and technology partners to bring strategy to life—ensuring projects are delivered on time, on budget, and with measurable impact. If you’re a hands-on leader with experience managing complex transformation programs, this role offers an opportunity to shape the future of finance operations in a high-growth environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the planning and execution of finance transformation projects from kickoff through completion.
  • Translate strategic initiatives into detailed project plans with clear milestones, timelines, and budgets.
  • Coordinate and align internal teams, consultants, and vendors to ensure smooth delivery.
  • Monitor progress across multiple workstreams, identifying risks and resolving issues proactively.
  • Maintain strong documentation practices and ensure all project assets are organized and accessible.
  • Provide regular updates to stakeholders, including dashboards, reports, and executive briefings.
  • Foster alignment between business and technical teams to ensure solutions meet operational needs.
  • Use project management tools to track performance and keep efforts on schedule and within scope.
  • Support the buildout of scalable PMO capabilities to manage future phases of the transformation.
  • Step into day-to-day project ownership when needed to keep momentum and accountability on track.

Requirements:

  • 7+ years of project or program management experience, ideally leading finance or ERP-related initiatives.
  • Strong background in delivering business process improvements and technology-driven change.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects in complex, cross-functional environments.
  • Experience working in SOX-compliant or regulated organizations is an asset.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills.
  • Skilled at balancing strategic oversight with tactical execution and hands-on problem-solving.
  • Familiarity with NetSuite or similar ERP platforms is strongly preferred.
  • PMP certification or progress toward certification is desirable.
  • Solid understanding of project management methodologies and tools.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Information Systems, or a related field.
