Global Wealth Engineering Technology Team is looking for an energetic and results-oriented AEM Front End Developer to join our team to help build our API platform for our wealth customers.
Is this role right for you? In this role you will:
- Develop and implement user interface features according to project specifications, ensuring adherence to design guidelines and user experience best practices.
- Collaborate with designers and back-end developers to create responsive, efficient, and visually appealing web applications.
- Integrate APIs and handle asynchronous data fetching to ensure seamless communication between the front end and back end.
- Complete web content requests assigned per the project plan on time and in accordance with the Bank's quality, branding, accessibility, and design guidelines. Hires will spend the majority of their day authoring in our web content management platform (AEM). Requests will be of low to medium complexity.
- Monitor and maintain site health (quality, accessibility, and SEO scores) across all assigned pages as per the project plan.
- Communicate proactively with the project manager and other stakeholders to capture new requirements and escalate any blockers.
- Coordinate with cross-functional partners on authoring best practices and page content recommendations.
Do you have the skills that will enable you to succeed in this role? We'd love to work with you if you have:
- 7+ years of experience in web technologies (HTML5, JavaScript, jQuery, CSS3, Sass, Bootstrap, Underscore, JSON) with expertise in converting designs into responsive, cross-browser.
- 5+ years of experience implementing Single Page Applications (SPAs), utilizing front-end build tools (webpack, yarn, npm), and working with AEM technologies (HTL, Sling, JCR, OSGI), including AEM Core Components and editable templates.
- Extensive experience in building AEM TouchUI authoring dialogs using GraniteUI and CoralUI
- Expert knowledge of W3C Accessibility best practices and SEO best practices, ensuring web content is both accessible and optimized for search engines.
- 5+ years of experience in consulting or corporate systems development, with expertise in system/application architecture, banking applications, and web-based IT principles, system integration, and standards.
- 5+ of content management experience, preferably in AEM
- Experience with Continuous Integration & Continuous Deployment Tools such as Jenkins, Azure DevOps, etc.
- Experience building applications with Angular.
- Experience building applications with React.
- Experience in Agile Methodology.
