General Manager - Canada
UNDO

About UNDO
UNDO is tackling the greatest challenge of our time: climate change. We are a fast-growing for-profit business that has already raised $22.87M USD to date. UNDO is one of the biggest carbon removal companies in the world and we’re just getting started.
UNDO has recently been named one of four global winners of the $100M XPRIZE Carbon Removal competition, taking home $5M USD. Gaining global recognition and furthering the credibility of enhanced rock weathering (ERW) as a carbon removal pathway, UNDO is positioned as a scientific world leader in this field.
We’re now leveraging our expertise and underlying technology to deliver a platform that will enable a global network of project developers to scale ERW to the gigaton level - essential in the fight against climate change.
About the role
UNDO has reached a nexus point in our scale-up efforts which now requires a strong Canadian lead. This role will lead the scale up of UNDO’s Canadian carbon dioxide removal business. As Canada’s General Manager, you will be responsible for the strategic direction and performance of UNDO Canada. This critical role will report directly to the CEO.
This is a widely varied role with real ownership and a chance to help shape UNDO’s Canadian trajectory. This is a permanent position and is a career-defining opportunity to shape an agile organization at a critical growth stage. This role has strong potential to evolve into a permanent leadership position.
Key Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Strategic Leadership: Identify and address strategic blockers, actively pursue growth opportunities, and tackle the challenges of scaling enhanced rock weathering.
- Organizational Operations: Provide direct on-site operational management to our measurement and operations teams in Kingston, Ontario.
- Engagement: Engage with and educate Federal and Provincial policy-makers.
- Initiative Oversight: Design and implement strategic growth strategies.
As a part of the UNDO team, you will continue to push boundaries as we commercialise enhanced rock weathering as a crucial carbon removal technology.
As part of the UNDO Team, you will catalyze our Canadian business operations and forge a path towards wider market adoption of enhanced rock weathering technology as a crucial carbon removal model.

As a scaling business with recently established (but fast growing!) operations in Canada, we don’t currently have healthcare cover as part of our existing package. However, we understand this is unusual and commit to ensuring our base salaries take this into consideration. This is something we intend to add to our benefits within the next 12 months.
Ontario has a significant land mass governed by treaty-based agreements with First Nations people. As part of our long-term operations in Canada, UNDO is committed to developing relationships, having open consultation and providing equitable access to opportunities that result from our work. We are very mindful of the physically and spiritually dependent tie that First Nations people have to the land and respect their stewardship.
